Katrina misses her dad badly Katrina Kaif, who is turning 25 tomorrow, has come a long way since she forayed into Bollywood a few years ago. She is perhaps the most-demanded actress today. The success of her latest release New York has strengthen her position even further. Apart from her booming career, she has a steady boyfriend in Salman Khan. But this lovely lady misses one thing badly. She misses her dad. Katrina, who was raised by her mom Suzzane, a Harvard graduate and a lawyer, confessed that she misses her dad whenever she sees fathers of her friends. She is not complaining though. She said that her mom did a fine job in raising seven children. She added that she should be grateful for all the other things she has.
Mohammed Kaif parted ways with Suzzane when Katrina was very young. So, is Katrina planning to get in touch with her dad now that she has become a big star? She said that her parents went their own ways due to personal issues. She added her father is very decent and affluent person. She knows that he won't come back just because she is famous. Katrina is going to an undisclosed location in Italy with her family for her birthday. Looks like she will miss her dad there too!
Katrina 'Kaif' accepts faking her name Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has finally admitted that she had faked her identity while entering Bollywood but she wasn't sorry about it. Recently Jackie Shroff's wife Ayesha Shroff who had mentored Katrina during her early days in the industry had dropped a bombshell when she said Katrina wasn't a Kaif at all and her real name was Katrina Turquotte. Ayesha had added that they had changed the name to give Katrina more acceptability in the industry.
In a recent interaction with the media when Katrina was quizzed about her name on the passport, the Rajiv Ghandhi award winner said that her name was indeed Katrina Turquotte and she had changed it to Katrina Kaif so that it was easier for people to address her. She concluded by saying that there was nothing more in the issue and she had no reasons to feel apologetic for changing her name after coming to India
